Augello-Cook on January 25th 1980 in Manhattan, New York City] is an American RnB and soul singer, songwriter, pianist, record producer, actress, philanthropist, and author who has sold over 25 million records worldwide and has won numerous awards, including nine Grammy Awards, eleven Billboard Music Awards, and three American Music Awards. Alicia Keys has enjoyed great success since her 2001 multi-platinum debut, 'Songs In A Minor', which gave the world an introduction to her formidable range of talents. Keys has gone from strength to strength with 2003's follow-up 'The Diary Of Alicia Keys' and 'Unplugged', in 2005.
